Benítez: "We won't sign a top striker after Cavani"

Rafael Benítez has ruled out the possibility that Naples will sign a prolific striker to wear the '9' shirt if Cavani finally joins PSG, as he looks set to do. The Spanish manager has complete faith in the scoring ability of the second line players.

"After Cavani goes, we won't be looking for a striker who can score 40 goals a season. We have a second line made up of Mertens, Hamsik and Alley, who can all score goals."

However, Benítez did leave the door open to signing another forward. "We are looking for a forward, but they can all score" he concluded.
